2 – Navigational
Website Map with Strategy for Completion of the Project
Armed with the information discussed, Chris King
of Creative Keys creates a proposed Website map with
sample navigation, page titles and descriptions, submitted along with
a proposed timeline, agreement and cost commitment.
Step
3 – Initial
Design and Site Interaction
Once we have agreed upon the initial plan and navigational
strategy, Creative Keys sets up the initial design on one
of its own locations (so you may view the progress without launching your
site while it is under construction). We either make use of your existing
logo or create one for you, while working with your color and design preferences.
Once the design is approved, we are ready to add the content.
Step
4 – The Fleshing Out Stage
This is the time when we need all of your help with gathering
content, any existing photos (taking new digital photos by Chris
is part of the package) and other information that will enhance the project.
As soon as a new page is up, Chris lets you know so that
you can check it for additions, deletions and changes. This will keep
us moving along quickly.
Step
5 – The Final OK, Picking the Internet Service Provider (ISP) and
the Launching
Once we agree that the site is ready (the good news about
the Internet is that nothing is set in stone. We can always change and
update), Chris helps with finding and hiring the ISP
along with taking care of the details of launching the site and setting
up e-mail addresses, the statistics program and other controls.
Step
6 – Submission
to Search Engines
Once the site is launched and working to our expectations,
Chris submits it and its description to the major free search engines. Creative
Keys’ sites consistently appear in top search positions and also receive
hefty traffic. This happens because we keep up with the latest vagaries of
the Internet.
Step
7 – Future Maintenance
If desired by you, Chris will update your site regularly or show you ways
to do this yourself. The majority of the websites developed and designed
by Creative Keys are maintained by Chris, some weekly, some monthly and some
quarterly. All should be updated when necessary to be kept fresh and interesting,
so visitors will return on a regular basis.
